Where is Lil Tracy Now?

Jazz Ishmael Butler, better known by his stage name Lil Tracy, is an American rapper and singer who was born on October 3, 1995. In a home in Teaneck, New Jersey, lived Jazz Butler, Ishmael Butler of Digable Planets, and Cheryl Gamble, a.k.a. “Coko” from SWV. His artistic influence came from his early exposure to emo music and Southern hip-hop performers.

He also went by the name Yung Bruh early in his career. Tracy and the late rapper Lil Peep collaborated on the song “Awful Things,” which peaked at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. Tracy is also well known for having had a significant influence on “SoundCloud rap” and underground rap.

Butler started writing songs when he was 15 years old, and at the age of 18 he relocated to Los Angeles (without notifying his parents) to focus more on his music career and because he was homeless. Under the stage name “Yung Bruh,” Butler released a number of mixtapes through the Thraxxhouse collective.

2018 saw the release of two EPs from Lil Tracy: Designer Talk on October 5 and the much-awaited Sinner on November 2. The first album by Lil Tracy, Anarchy, was made available on September 20.
